Accessing Asset Maintenance

Step 1: Go to Assets → Maintenance

Interface Breakdown

  • Calendar View: Scheduled maintenance
  • Task List: Upcoming and completed tasks
  • History Tab: Past maintenance logs

Logging Maintenance

  • Click Log Maintenance
  • Fill in:
    • Asset
    • Maintenance Type (Routine, Repair)
    • Date
    • Technician
    • Notes
  • Click Save

Viewing History

  • Click asset row → View History
  • Filter by date or type

Exporting Logs

  • Click Export
  • Choose format: CSV or PDF

Mobile Usage

  • Access calendar and logs via mobile
  • Use touch-friendly forms

Important Notes

  • Timely logging ensures warranty and compliance tracking

Asset Assignment

Asset Assignment

Asset Assignments tracks which assets are assigned to employees or departments.

Accessing Asset Assignment

Step 1: Go to Assets → Assignment

Interface Breakdown

  • Assignments Table: Asset ID, name, assignee, date assigned, status
  • Action Buttons: Assign, reassign, unassign

Assigning an Asset

  • Click Assign Asset
  • Select:
    • Asset
    • Employee or Department
    • Assignment Date
    • Expected Return Date (optional)
  • Click Confirm

Reassigning or Unassigning

  • Click asset row → Reassign or Unassign
  • Confirm changes

Search & Filter

  • Search by asset or assignee name
  • Filter by assignment status

Exporting Assignments

  • Click Export
  • Choose format and fields

Accessing Asset Inventory

Step 1: Go to Assets → Inventory

Adding a New Asset

  • Click Add Asset
  • Fill in:
    • Asset Name
    • Category (e.g., Laptop, Chair)
    • Serial Number
    • Purchase Date
    • Assigned Department
    • Location
    • Status (Available, Assigned, Maintenance)
  • Click Save

Editing or Deleting Assets

  • Click asset row → Edit or Delete

Search & Filter

  • Search by name, ID, category, or location
